Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Jitsuno is a BJJ training app from the Netherlands. The developer of Jitsuno is responsible for your data. Contact: joeymeij@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account: your email address and user ID, or the details Apple shares when you use Sign in with Apple.
- Profile: your name, belt and stripes.
- Training: sessions, techniques, notes, challenges and badges you log.
- Channels: the channels you join, your role, RSVPs, check-ins and the messages and posts you write.
- Notifications: a push token, if you allow notifications.
The AI Coach runs on your device with Apple Intelligence. Your data is not sent to an AI service for it.
3. How we use data
Only to run the app: keep your account, sync your training between devices, show channel content to its members and send the notifications you asked for. We show no ads and do not track you across other apps or websites.
4. Who can see it
Your training log is yours. Members of a channel see what you share in that channel, such as your name, RSVPs, attendance and messages. Channel admins see members and attendance.
5. Processors
We do not sell personal data. Data is stored with our hosting provider Supabase. Apple handles Sign in with Apple, payments and push notifications.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while you have an account. You can delete your account and its data in the app (Profile → Delete account), or by emailing us.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and object to its use. Email us and we will answer within a month. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date above and tell you in the app when the change matters.
